Hogwarts Mysterious Man Resurrected

Chapter 13: Perception

"The diary is gone, gentlemen." Hermione walked down the stairs and said anxiously to Harry and Ron, who were sitting playing cards.

"Did you put it somewhere and then forget about it." Harry gave a more pertinent explanation. "After all, you read every day, so maybe you put it in a certain book."

"Impossible." Hermione said with a depressed look, "I remember it very clearly. I put it on the windowsill next to my bed. I will never forget it."

"Where will the diary go? It can't run away on its own." Ron said with a smile.

Hermione looked at Ron, as if she was really considering whether the diary had escaped.

After all, it is not an ordinary diary, but a magic item. It is not surprising that it has any special abilities.

"You have a point, Ron."

"No, I'm just joking, don't take it seriously."

Ron looked at Hermione in confusion. He was just making a joke to liven up the atmosphere as usual.

"No, I'm serious. That diary is a magic item. It wouldn't be surprising if it could run away on its own."

Hermione looked at Harry and Ron with extremely serious expressions on her face.

It's not like he was making fun of Ron, but he was really thinking about the possibility of the diary running away on his own.

Harry and Ron looked at each other, and they both saw the confusion in the other's eyes.

Can the diary really grow its legs and run away on its own?

"However, it is not ruled out that someone took the diary I placed on the window sill."

Hermione looked at the two people who didn't understand and didn't explain any more.

Instead, another possibility was raised.

"Then, who would be back in the common room during class?" Ron said in confusion.

They were already the first to come back, and they came back right after class.

"If a girl really took away Hermione's diary, then she must have come back earlier than us."

"I just returned to Gryffindor during class, so the scope of the investigation has been reduced a lot."

When the others come back, we can find out by asking who came back to Gryffindor early and took the diary. "

Harry said with dazzling eyes, his instinct told him that this was another extraordinary adventure.

Just like last school year, they went through many difficulties and misunderstandings and finally defeated Voldemort's conspiracy.

Although it feels like they relied on luck from beginning to end, sometimes luck is also a part of strength.

Looking at the high-spirited Harry in front of her, Hermione smiled and said, "Harry, you feel like a real Gryffindor now."

"Didn't it happen before?"

"No, always," interrupted Ron.

Looking at each other, the three of them laughed together.

"Then what should we do next?" After laughing, Ron asked in confusion, "Are we just going to wait in the common room for them to come back?"

"No, Ron." Hermione refused, "Let's go to the library now. I've been feeling something is wrong lately."

"Every time I want to remember it, I forget it because of something."

She looked very anxious.

In the past few days, Hermione had clearly felt something was wrong.

But she couldn't remember what was wrong.

I just vaguely noticed it based on my feeling.

She had a guess in her mind, but it was too vague.

"Are you okay, Hermione."

Sensing that her mood was not right, Harry was a little worried.

Hermione has always given Harry and Ron a vibe these days.

That is his special obsession with Professor Lockhart.

Unlike before, she was obsessed because she admired Lockhart.

Later, after seeing through Lockhart's true face, Hermione was obsessed with finding evidence that Lockhart was a liar.

This makes them a little worried.

Hermione showed a cute smile to Harry and Ron, indicating that she was fine.

"Let's go, gentlemen. After we finish going to the library, we have to go to Hagrid's place. It just so happens that I also have something to ask him."

After saying that, Hermione stepped forward alone, leaving Harry and Ron behind.

The two of them looked at each other and followed.

"I hope it's not you, Lothar."

Hermione frowned, feeling a little irritated.

When she thought about that possibility, she felt very complicated.

But now, she's not so sure.

She needed to check the information in the library and ask Hagrid.

if it is really

Thinking of this, Hermione couldn't help but feel irritable again.

Harry and Ron felt that Hermione was very strange recently. She seemed to have something on her mind and was always frowning.

Even the usual smile or the serious look on the sinner was gone.

He just kept frowning, thinking about some unknown things.

This worried both of them. Hermione was a good friend of theirs and they were worried that something was wrong with her.

Looking back, I saw the worried eyes of the two of them.

Hermione felt warm in her heart. Apart from Lothar, she still had two good friends.

Although he looks stupid, he also has courage that others don't have.

"Don't worry, I'm fine. I just remembered something before."

"The most important thing now is to find the diary quickly. It is really a very magical magic item."

"I hope no one else takes it. It was given to me by Ginny."

"Ginny" Ron was a little curious, "Why didn't I know about this?"

"Why did she tell you?" Hermione rolled her eyes at him.

"Of course it's because I'm her brother." Ron was a little embarrassed.

"Heh." Hermione sneered.

"I seemed to have seen her crying after being scolded by Snape before." Harry said thoughtfully, "Then the next class, I didn't see her again."

"Then it's possible that Ginny returned to Gryffindor and took away the diary." Ron suddenly realized, "Then what are we looking for? It was originally hers."

Harry felt the same way. Since it might have been Ginny who took it, he could just ask later. There was no need to look any further.

Hermione frowned again, she felt right, it was Ginny's thing.

However, she vaguely realized that there was something wrong with the diary.

She felt that she had been misled by Lothar recently.

At first, she wanted to help Ginny find if there was something wrong in the diary.

Then, she discovered Lothar's existence by chance.

Thinking about it this way, some things seem to make sense.

Then, there must be secrets in the diary that Lothar doesn't want her to know.

What could that be?

"No, we still have to keep looking." Hermione looked at them seriously, "It's just that we go directly to Hagrid. I have something to ask him."
