High School of the Dead: Zombie World with a Gacha

Replenishing II

The psychopath laughed amusedly at my tantrum and did as I said; she threw the bomb out of the window as far as she could. The TNT Monkey flew across a couple of shops before coming to a stop dully, not too far away from the mob of zombies.

A few seconds transcurred without anything happening and Lucy was already starting to glare at me for wasting a bomb like that. When we thought nothing was going to happen and I just wasted eighty gacha points-

*CLAP!*

*CLAP!*

*CLAP!*

*CLAP!*

The monkey began smashing the plates and generating a lot of noise, the bomb was far away and we could hear it as if it was just in front of us. I resisted the urge to boast at Lucy that we just saved both our lives, instead... I inspected everything from this point of view.

We saw how the zombies began to walk in the direction of the bomb, attracted to it as it was logical

"I see, whoever made that bomb had this catastrophe in mind... sure it wasn't you?" Lucy asked me and I shook my head.

"No... but I'll definitely be getting more of those" I stated with a smile, even if that thing didn't have a charge of TNT, it is still quite useful as a diversion. I wonder if I can ask Hollow to scan just the monkey and lea-

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!*

!!!!

"Oh shit!"

The next thing I felt was a shockwave and saw a cloud of blood looming at us. Both Lucy and I closed the windows the fastest possible and blood impacted all over it. It splashed the windows gruesomely, turning every red and menacing.

We could still hear the noise of flesh falling and hitting the building.

"Ugh! my goodness, that thing is dangerous!"

"Disgusting..."

Saya came running up the stairs and gasped when she saw the windows all covered in blood.

"What happened?!"

"Well, we sort of used a bomb to see..."

"To see what? and where did you get a bomb from...? your power?" Saya crossed her arms and that was when something impacted the window, it was a particularly gruesome piece of flesh that was attached due to the blood. She resisted the urge to throw up

"Yes... let's go back" I pulled her down, this was too much for her to bear and for me to see.

I guess it is true that Japanese men have small dicks.

We had food to spare, we had bikes, and we didn't have ammo but that bomb had killed so many zombies that everything I have spent was already replenished. If we go on like this then perhaps killing 100.000 zombies won't be a dream. I could literally yeet bombs at the door and get myself 400 points more or so discounting the bombs' cost.

*Cough!*

*Cough!*

Saya began coughing beside me and I patted her back, we were all having noodles.

"Do you need water?"

She nodded and I pulled out another bottle for her. The girl leaned on me after and continued having her noodles like everyone else. The banging had lessened drastically, but they were still at it and more kept coming.

Lucy and Rei were upstairs, guarding in case anything else came through; Shizuka and Kyoko were both tending to Saeko who seemed rather annoyed to be spoiled like that as if she was a princess for a 'mere' shot.

"There are still plenty of them banging on the doors..." Hirano stated, finishing his noodles and sighing, I can tell that wasn't enough to fill him up so released a sigh of my own, popping out two more for him, he smiled brightly and with gratitude.

Here I thought he was trying to lose weight.

"None of you ever played any zombie games before, what would you do in this situation?" Kyoko asked all of us with her 'teacher' tone. All of the students deadpanned at her as if her question had been rather insulting.

"Eh... well, I have played zombie games" Hirano stated, gaining the attention of everyone around.

"..."

"We could try to make that jump?"

"..."

I took him to the spot upstairs where Lucy and Rei were; he ignored the bloodied windows and saw the distance of the jump with twitching eyebrows.

"Impossible Brand-kun!"

"Impossible, right?~" I smirked at him and at his mock tears before Lucy pulled me by the shirt.

"B-Brand, Hirano... you have to come and see this".

"Eh?"

We walked around to the other end of the hall where Rei was leaning on the window, watching something while covering her gaping mouth. We all leaned on it to see what was going on and that was when we saw 'it'.

"That zombie..." Lucy pointed at the middle of the pool of blood and limbs that had been caused by the bomb; there... there was a single zombie.

"..."

I frowned profusely.

"He is eating other zombies?" I asked myself in a loud tone... is it odd? it is not... more like, this is what it should have been from the beginning. Zombies are always hunting people, but we hadn't seen any zombies eating each other. They can't see, they can't smell... only hear. So how do they know that someone is a human or a zombie?

This particular zombie is not able to identify it. or is he eating other zombies while being conscious of it?

"Isn't that a good sign?" Hirano stated, earning a puzzled gaze from all of us. He's right, this should be a good thing.

But why? why doesn't it feel like something good will come out of this?
