NOVEL FROG Dropouts
I have to confess that I never could have expected how much of a nice team this is. Leaving the deadweights aside, there was chemistry in this lineup. Saeko and I rampaged forward together, cleaning the path and washing each other on blood, I tried to be as careful as possible to not let anything fall on my mouth, and eyes, but it was just impossible... even if we were to avoid that, we're still smelling it. At some point, I didn't care any more and just slaughtered everything that was in front of me. The ones that remained would be handled by Rei and Takashi while Kouta and Lucy would assist if we were overwhelmed.
One or two zombies managed to go through and they were dealt with by the senpai with the kitchen pole or Lucy.
It just felt smooth.

I stopped caring about the interface the moment we reached the outside of the building. I made signals instead of talking and we all began running towards the back of the building, careful to stick to the walls and prevent any zombie from coming behind us. Thankfully the windows stopped any of them from jumping through the back and assaulting us.
When we finally reached the bus Kyoko was quick to enter it together with Miku, the senpai that was always sticking to her and Saya entered last. The team was taking their place around defending the vehicle from the incoming zombies. However, when Saya did enter the vehicle, what I could have never expected took place.
Or perhaps, I should have thought this was going to happen.
"What are you doing!?"
Saeko, Rei, Takashi and I were covering together when we heard Saya yelling loudly, so loud that we immediately went alert. Within this silence that was like a beacon for the zombies! I turned around to reproach her and it was then that I found Yuuki holding Saya's gun, pointing at us!

"What the fuck are you doing?" I asked with the driest voice I could muster, slashing the head of an incoming zombie as Saeko and Rei covered me. Even Kouta and Lucy were gasping in disbelief as we saw Yuuki Miku pointing her gun at us together with the 'senpai'.
It was as if the atmosphere turned hellish, I knew exactly what was happening but I couldn't believe it.
Miku then kicked Kyoko out of the bus, there was no smile on her face at all. If anything... there was hatred; still, it can't possibly compare to the degree of hatred I'm having right now. If we come out of this alive, I'm killing this bitch.
"You should have chosen me, Brand" The slut dared to say that to me.
"Stupid bitch now is not the time for that!" How dare you make a fit of jealousy middle of a bloody apocalypse!
"Sakaki-senpai, you drive, and you all stay away or I'll shoot you!"
Before I could materialise my gun, the first to take an action was Lucy; she didn't take any more nonsense and immediately shot two arrows aiming at Miku's head; the girl grit her teeth and fell on her butt, evading the arrows which wouldn't have missed if that was gun instead; Yuki -who didn't even know how to use a gun- shoot two clumsy rounds towards Shizuka and Saya; my blonde girlfriend jumped on Saya to protect her and thankfully Miku was going to fail those shots anyway.
*PA!*

"Open the door dammit!" Takashi started smashing the door with his bat but it wouldn't open; Shizuka too began shooting at the Bus' windows before the bastard that was with Miku started the engine. It was utter madness

"STOP SHOOTING, SHIZUKA!" I yelled, not helping the situation at all but if we keep shooting it is just going to make things worse.
I rushed back to help Saeko that was overwhelmed and so did Lucy and Kouta; the latter was already running out of ammo. I saw with my very eyes how every single zombie around began coming towards us hectically.
The bus then began driving away and at the very least, a great chunk of the zombies began following it due to the mad noise the engine was making.
"Brand!" Lucy called me with a gaze contorted in disbelief as if unaware of what to do; asking for my orders. They were all the same, this didn't go according to the plan at all. None of us could have expected that bitch to be so bold and vengeful!
'Just because I rejected you, you did this!?' I could do nothing but curse my 'luck' even though I know it is not its fault that Miku's head is skewered.
"Carry on killing, we need to make our way out of here running... follow the trail left by the bus! Here!"
I made more arrows for Lucy and nails for Kouta, throwing them at them without any care, hoping they'd just catch it, I need to keep helping Saeko, she already looks fatigued just like Rei and Takashi, we're all so damn tired. From the moment we came out of the room we haven't stopped a single time and this bitch playing this joke on us only meant one thing... we'd not stop for a long while.
I hope that at the very least the Zombies would follow the bus and they'd clear a path for us by squashing them with the bumper. But it was then that my next streak of luck resurfaced. That, or it was Miku's karma playing a joke on her.
*BAAANGG!!!*
A loud noise called for our attention and also the zombies' as the Bus that had just fled crashed fiercely against the gate's boulder instead of the gate, it was going top speed and the shock made it topple on its side, effectively rendering the bus unusable. But also... taking the majority of the zombies away from our tail.
'Of course, the damn idiot doesn't know how to drive!'
"We can't waste this chance!" Saya said to me and I nodded, indicating for everyone to make a runner to the gates. Except for the zombies' killing, every single zombie is attracted to the bus that's now starting to set on fire. There is no way we can use that bus, if we want to escape, it is now or never!
"Quickly run for the gates!" I ordered, killing one of the zombies in front of us and leading the charge. When we reached the bus it was surrounded by zombies, we had to make our way through their accumulated numbers.
I saw Miku and the guy's bloodied expressions inside the bus.
"B-BRAND! HELP ME! I LOVE YOU PLEASE HELP ME!"
"..."
'That's it, bitch... keep yelling and attracting the zombies, things could have been different, but you messed it all up'.
I didn't say a word and we kept running. Miku's cries for help and sobs didn't stop until they were replaced by despaired grunts as she was devoured.
Things could have been different indeed, I could have accepted her even now. But she had to betray me like this; after this... I'd never be able to trust her again.
