Hello, Heir

Chapter 41

She can see Si Zheng Ting standing there, all high and mighty with his sleeves rolls up.  He looks dignified and distinguished.

At the moment, she is being detained on the bed, right in front of him.  It feels like she is a woman giving birth.  The way he looks at her makes it feels like being glanced at by him is one’s fortune.

Zhuang Nai Nai is momentarily stunned.  When she recovers her thoughts, her entire body trembles.

She has been putting her toes on the lines for so many times, she finally managed to infuriate him.  Kidnapping her and bringing her to this secluded place; is he planning to kill her?

Zhuang Nai Nai swallows heavily as the gears inside her head works, trying to figure out how to beg for mercy.

Si Zheng Ting turns around before heading towards the door, his back tall and straight.

Zhuang Nai Nai is taken aback.  He is leaving.   Does that means that…. she is spared?

Judging from what he said earlier, she seems to have passed this obstacle.

But wait…..  She sits up and opens her shirt a little.  In the tingling spot on her waist, she can see a life-like eagle tattoo.  It’s eyes are cold and sharp, it looks really domineering.  There is also a letter on the eagle’s body: T.

Isn’t that his name?

Angered by the discovery, Zhuang Nai Nai’s guts returns to her.  She stares at it blankly.  She had screamed for help earlier on, and nobody bothered to tell her that it was nothing.

She looks around.  All of the male bodyguards have left; the only staffs left are a couple of female helpers.  They are all looking at her coyly.

Remembering what she said earlier on, Zhuang Nai Nai feels really embarrassed.

Ahhhhh!!!!!  So embarrassing!

Her shame turns to anger.  She glares at Si Zheng Ting who is about to leave the room, “Si Zheng Ting!”

The man stops in his track before turning around to look at her.

Under the golden light, his features look softer and more refined.  Just a look from him makes Zhuang Nai Nai too scared to scold him.

Her voice unwittingly trembles as she points at the tattoo on her waist, “What is this?”

His voice is clear and cold as he replies her, “My mark.”

Mark?

She is not his personal property, why is she being treated this way?

Feeling humiliated, her heart sinks as her eyes turn red.

Does he even know how scared she was?

Remembering her own misdeed, she can only lower her voice, “What do you mean?”

He raises his eyebrows, “Aren’t we getting married?”
