NOVEL FROG 2-3 The Wizarding World-1
Ralph POV
As I opened the door, there was this man who was 9 feet towering over me. I was a well-respected 6-foot handsome man but in front of him I was like a child. He looked directly past me towards Iris and had a different gleam in his eyes. My fatherly instincts got activated and I asked him a little coldly
"Who are you?"
He replied a little cheerfully
"Oh sorry, didn't see you there, I am Rubeus Hagrid the gate keeper at the famous Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Sorry for scaring you like that. Can I come inside before we talk, It's a little cold outside"
I was still in disbelief that Hogwarts was real. I said yes to him absent mindedly.
He came inside sat on the couth with a loud thud and the ground shook.
I sat in the adjacent couth with iris sitting towards his left and looking up to with sparkling eyes. He was also looking at Iris with a slight slime.
I coughed and raised an eyebrow towards him to make him start talking.
He looked towards me with a slightly embarrassed faced and started talking
"Sorry for coming so late, I came here to inform you that your daughter is selected to study in Hogwarts. Now as you are a muggle"
As he said muggle I lightly raised my eyebrow.
"Muggle means the people who don't have magic."
"But how can this be possible, there is nothing like magic" I said
As I said that he took out a wand looking a little smug.
He said something that I didn't understand and there was light at the tip of his wand and suddenly the empty glass at the table was filled with coffee. He picked it up and took a sip and said
"This is the only thing that I like which is made by muggles. Now you believe there is magic?"
All I could answer after seeing that was YES.
Iris POV
So there was Hagrid on the door. He was just like my imaginations which I made in my previous life. My dad was looking like a child in front of him. I couldn't listen what they were talking about, but my dad invited him inside.
He came inside and sat on the couch with a loud thud. I went and sat beside him. I didn't know when but I started looking at him with sparkling eyes. My dream was when he said
"Now let's come to the point, Iris's parents were great wizards, but they were killed by someone whose name shall not be taken. She is the only the second child who has escaped whose name shall not be taken but in the wizarding world only I and of course the great Dumbledore know about her. After that as per Dumbledore wishes she was sent in the muggle world to her only relatives left. After that night we couldn't ever find until you adopted her of course."
"Who is this whose name shall not be taken "Asked my father.
"He who shall not be named was a very dark wizard, During his time it was very dirty"
"So what do you want, That I send Iris to your wizarding school "Asked my father.
" Yes, that is her destiny to be a great wizard like her parents" replied Hagrid.
"Before I sat yes, I want to go to your wizarding world and while at it maybe I will also buy her school supplies." said my father
"Okay that's a deal. So, I will meet you tomorrow in the morning at roughly 8 AM "Replied Hagrid
After saying so he stood up and went out the house.
My father looked at me and asked
"Do you want to go to magic school?"
"Yes, father I want to go, I want to see the things my dead parents saw, I also want to learn magic and don't worry I am and will always be your daughter"
"Okay then If that's what you want, now I got to take a leave tomorrow. "He said.
After saying that he hugged me and said
"Thank you, Iris, for coming in my life and if you ever felt lonely you can always some to your father."
"Now go and sleep tight, Tomorrow's a big day"
I wished him good night and went to my room excited for tomorrow.
