Evolution: Start AS A Raft

20. The Biggest Threat

After two or three days at sea, Raine thought that it was about time and led the crowd back to the Morgan Sea Trading Market.

As soon as he returned, he quickly attracted the attention of many people.

"Eh? It's that woman, why did she change ships?"

"What? They're taking all the leftover missions, right? How can they make enough money so quickly? I think it's not even enough to cover the crafting costs."

"Even changing ships wouldn't be that quick."

With so many people watching, Avril and the others tried to look as relaxed as possible.

The ship traveled to the quest launch, it would be nice to get a quest and get out of here for a while.

"Hey Terry, you guys changing boats so soon?"

Terry said trying to be calm, "Oh yeah, the previous boat was too small, Captain Avril had been working on this new one before and she went to pick it up the other day when it was ready. What do you think of our current boat, is there a suitable mission for it?"

Goldwell didn't doubt it, he nodded, "It's okay, it's looking good, your old ship really couldn't do anything."

"It's not much of a mission for a couple of days, the shipping lane is windy and unsafe for transport, it'll be a couple of days."

Terry was finally relieved, "Oh good, we'll come back in a couple of days then."

Since there was no mission, Avril steered the boat to the far side where there weren't many ships, tied it to a stake and a few people rested on board.

"Yo, nice new boat." A man's lazy voice suddenly rang out. Avril and the others looked up to see four or five burly sailors standing in the boarded-up aisles of the marketplace.

The men were bearded and smirking as they looked at Avril, Armin, and Arsan, a few of the latter men's eyes lingered on the three women's breasts and stuck out their tongues to lick their lips.

Avril had been around the Human-Class Sea area for a while, and from her experience, she could tell that these guys were not good at first glance, but she didn't dare offend them, so she could only say in a cold tone, "Thanks."

"Good luck, cripple, someone's actually willing to take you in." A fat, scruffy man said at the top of his voice, "All old friends, won't you invite us aboard?"

Terry knew them, and his expression was unnatural, but after some hesitation, he plucked up the courage to stand in front of Avril and smiled at the man at the head of the group, "Brother Biao, if this were my boat I would invite you, but now I'm just a crew member, so I think it's better another time."

"Cripple, I really don't think you're sincere at all, can't you talk to your captain?"

"Or you can go on our boat, Cripple, look at your boat, one man and three women, and look at our boat, such a big boat, two dozen people all fucking men!"

"Cripple, your daughter has grown up too, look at those tits, that ass, why keep hiding it?! Do you want some grandchildren to cuddle with?"

"And your captain, tut tut, really nice. Hey chick, here's a chance for you, go and accompany our brother Biao, I'll give you 2 white pearls after your well serve!"

The more these men spoke the more explicit they became, and Avril looked angrily at these men, "You can serve each other!"

When Biao heard this, he sank his face, "Girl, are you want someone to lose face?" With that, he tried to get on board.

Terry quickly grabbed the oar from the side, "Don't blame me for being rude if you catch up!"

"Yo, the cripple's got a hard-on!" Biao laughed with a cross face and said to his brothers behind him, "Tut tut tut, I'm soooo scared hahaha!"

"Yeah, I'm scared too."

"Chick, if you won't stay with the captain, then stay with me! The brothers promise to spoil you properly."

As soon as Avril untied a side of the threading rope, the boat moved towards the water, and now it was not so easy for these guys to get on board.

"Run? Guys, sail the boat to jam them!" Several men quickly ran back and jumped into a wooden boat about ten meters long.

It was a Hufflepuff boat, about 12 meters long, with seven pairs of oars to the left and right, a couple of hand-cranked propellers at the stern as well, and a huge catapult with a seven or eight-meter boom on its spacious hull, not loaded at the moment, but with a pile of rocks sitting around it, each weighing a dozen pounds.

"Avril, come on, move!" Terry said hurriedly, "Armin, Arsan, get out!"

Avril frowned, "Terry, they wouldn't dare touch us here, would they?"

"They know people in the Navy, they used to be slightly more scrupulous when I was a Marketplace man, but it's different now, we're all here for a mission! Fights over missions are a regular occurrence here, and the Navy doesn't even bother with fights like this that aren't about grabbing goods. And they've got people, so when the time comes, they'll reverse black and white." Terry said anxiously.

Avril had been in the human-class sea area before, so she quickly understood that.

To put it bluntly, there was someone behind that group to back them up!

"Avril, they must not just value you girls anymore, they must have seen us change ships and guessed you were rich! Don't think about it, let's get out of here, maybe they won't dare fire."

Avril got it too, and together with Armin, and Arsan hurriedly cranked the thrusters!

The scene certainly didn't escape Raine's eyes, but as a boat, he didn't seem to have too much better to do now than to do as Terry said and avoid being forced to stop by the other side for now.

Raine and his crews made their way out of the harbor quickly, while Biao's group refused to give up and gave chase.

On their boat, three men cranked the thrusters and fourteen slid the oars quickly, going extremely fast, and were catching up with Raine.

On the distant navy ship, navy men were looking this way, a few of them gathered together and wondered what they were talking about, but they didn't make a move, instead more and more navy men were lying on the pole of the ship, watching the scene with great interest.

A ball of anger rose up in Raine's heart.

It seemed that the so-called navy was not the kind of navy he remembered for defending country, but just a force in this world!

Behind him, Biao stood at the bow of the ship, iron sword in hand, pointing his sword at Raine, "Brothers, want a woman? Whoever put in the effort will have share for the night!"

Raine's heart was complicated at this moment.

All the difficulties he had encountered before had come from nature, but now he was in real trouble, and the biggest trouble of all, very ironically, was from the humans themselves!

"Hurry up, everyone!" Terry shouted anxiously, "Don't let them catch up with us! Captain, change course and turn!"

Terry was experienced, the small boat was no match for speed, and only depend on agility.

On the shore, there were no missions today and many people with nothing to do were attracted by this sea chase, and people watched the scene leisurely.

"Did Biao struck again? Oh, it's that boat, honestly, that woman I've been eyeing for a long time."

"What a bargain for Biao, tut tut, just thinking about it makes me want to fuck."

"Fire, Biao! Have a duel!"

Raine was fleeing frantically, but his anger was at full rage as the maniacal laughter behind him grew fuller and fuller!

I've been reborn for a lifetime, and this is how you humiliate me! I can't even protect my own crew?

If that's the case, then what's the point of being reborn?!
