BTTH: Starting With Auctioning Green Lotus Core Flame

Queen Medusa felt no fear, only immense excitement. None of her predecessors had ever advanced to the Dou Ancestor level. And now, she was about to succeed! Finally, someone would witness her loyalty to the snake people!

Queen Medusa's body glowed red, releasing a powerful shockwave. 

Sensing the terrifying energy, all high-level magical beasts in the Magic Beast Mountain Range turned towards the Heaven Ascending Pavilion, eyes filled with astonishment.

In an instant, Queen Medusa's body shattered, transforming into spots of red light. However, she did not die; instead, she morphed into a hundred-meter-long seven-colored python.

The Snake-People race and humans were different. Not long after they were born, a secret technique was used to insert a snake-type magical beast's soul into their bodies. As they grew older and their strength increased, this kind of spirit from a snake-shaped Magic Beast gradually merged with them and eventually became one entity. After merging with a snake-shaped spirit, when meeting a strong enemy, they were able to summon forth the original form of that snake-type magical beast. When that happened, their strength rose tremendously. This was also the final card of the Snake-People.

Queen Medusa risked her life to devour the Heavenly Flame to lead her people to return to their homeland, a task fraught with danger and incredibly difficult to accomplish. Returning to their homeland was the lifelong wish of every Queen Medusa!

(T/N: Does anyone remember in which chapter this wish of Queen Medusa mentioned in the original story? When I check the wiki there's no mention of this so-called wish and I don't have the time to reread the story recently. If any of you guys know, please let me know in the comment section!)

The Heavenly Flame sensed its dire situation and desperately tried to escape. With its intelligence, it knew that if it were successfully absorbed, its fate would be sealed. 

The two chased each other wildly in mid-air. The Green Lotus Core Flame emitted intense heat, trying to make Queen Medusa give up. But her persistence was beyond imagination. Seeing that Queen Medusa wouldn't give up, the Heavenly Flame attacked her body furiously, burning her severely.

Yue Mei knelt on the ground in agony. "No! Your Majesty!"

Lian Xue frowned slightly and sighed, "Who would've thought the final retaliation of the Green Lotus Core Flame could heavily injure the peak Dou Emperor Queen Medusa? It's indeed a flame born of heaven and earth."

Li Xiao glanced at the Heavenly Flame and murmured, "The time is not yet right. Medusa, I hope you can hold on a little longer."

Meanwhile, in the snake-people's tribe deep within the Tagor Desert, massive stones suspended in mid-air began to fall. At this moment, all the snake-people were stunned, not knowing what was happening.

Only the Elder Yin Shi and a few Dou Kings looked horrified.

Elder Yin Shi knelt on the ground, wailing in pain, "Queen! Why must our snake people endure such suffering? A thousand years! We have paid a thousand-year price, Queen!"

Mo Ba Si, filled with rage, drew two large blades immediately. "Elder, let's head to the Magic Beast Mountain Range at once. We will kill Li Xiao and avenge the Queen!"

Elder Yin Shi's face was extremely grim, but suddenly, the fallen stones began to levitate again. Everyone's expression changed dramatically, hardly believing their eyes.

"The Queen is not dead! The Queen is still alive!" Elder Yin Shi rejoiced. "Hahaha, heaven bless our snake people, the Queen has not failed!"

The rest of the eight leaders, upon learning about the situation, breathed a sigh of relief.

The queen was the lifeline of the snake people, and these massive stones were bound to her life. As long as the stones remained intact, that meant the queen would remain safe!

The energy in the Magic Beast Mountain Range began to surge violently. Under the celestial phenomenon, a tremendous thunderbolt shook the sky and struck the barriers around the Heaven Ascending Pavilion repeatedly.

Seeing the relentless assault, the Heaven Ascending Pavilion was thoroughly enraged. It transformed into a golden sword, slicing through the sky and colliding fiercely with the chaotic energy.

With a thunderous boom, the powerful force instantly shattered the energy of Heaven and Earth, sending a shockwave rippling out over ten thousand miles.

The experts of the Jia Ma Empire flew out almost instantly, their eyes flashing with shock as they looked towards the Magic Beast Mountain Range.

"This incredible aura... is it really something only a Dou Venerate can produce?" President Fa Ma swallowed hard. As a Dou King, he felt as if just sensing this aura could lead to his sudden death.

Jia Xingtian's blood also surged, and he looked in that direction with a grave expression. "The Heaven Ascending Pavilion... could they have truly reached that level?"

As a Tier-6 alchemist, Pill King Gu He looked on with a solemn gaze, filled with dread. Being an alchemist, he could naturally sense the presence of a Heavenly Flame.
