An npc who just wants to live idling around.

4. The All

After thinking for a while, I got out of bed and prepared to walk the streets and get to know my surroundings better, not just based on blurry memories from a year ago.

I left my apartment building, it was located on the third floor, if the inside could be considered ugly, the outside was worse.

The walls had chunks of concrete on the outside, the stairs were missing pieces and there were even empty steps on some stairs which were replaced by boards.

When I got to the second floor, although there were no missing parts of concrete anymore, it still looked ugly.

From the memories, I am in a poor neighborhood 30 minutes away from All.

Looking at my clothes already faded from use, it was easy to guess my economic situation.

According to the memories, Ren was a very considerate child with his parents.

Not only because of his big heart but also because he had trauma from strict parents, a young man with no talent in combat or magic, entered All thanks to the written exam as a genius, another reason why he suffered bullying.

I enter All, a place where the strongest reigns, all to follow the wishes of their parents...

As I walked through the streets, I had a question in my mind.

What should I do with the knowledge I have?

My body is extremely weak as a manaless, if I enter All, I would have no physical strength to resist... on one hand if I finish the academy and become a hero based on only written scores as the old Ren had planned, I could finish, I would only have to study day and night.

'Study in this life? Um... at least Ren seems to have had a great memory to enter All is based only on knowledge.

Having the title of hero, although I would not be an active hero, could serve me as a strategist.

'I have experience directing, so it would not be difficult to create plans for dungeon attacks.

It could also serve as a certificate diploma that gives you better job opportunities, entering a simple guild, I could live a quiet life without having to worry about anything else since the protagonist will take care of all the evils and generals of the demon god.

'Um... so many paths, but not knowing which one... this is the pain of being young again, each path would mean risks and rewards, now... without strength to defend myself, although I could use artifacts right?... right not, there is another variable.

In the game, there was a long list of hidden artifacts that were hard to find, plus most of them were in dungeons.

There is also the plot that gave everything to the hero and I don't know if it will be the same here, if not, it would be a bad thing to some extent since certain artifacts are essential to continue the story.

I should check if it is like that before tomorrow, I remember that the hero finds a statue that gives him a slight agility stat after praying there.

But how do I approach him? First of all, without having the strength to approach the boy who attracts misfortune? I have no idea.

I should at least give a summary about THE ALL.

From what I know from my sister, The ALL is the best academy within the human domain. It started as a combat academy for nobles.

The director agreed with other races from different domains 5 years ago, for student exchanges between the 4 races.

Each race of the 4 has a particularity.

Of the 4 basic elements that are fire, water, earth, and air along with the rare elements that are light and darkness, the elves have a greater affinity to wind magic, the dwarves have a great affinity with earth magic, the demons with fire magic.

I don't mean that an entire race will have that affinity, but it is more common to see a demon with the fire element than with the water element, and since the affinity with fire is more common in the case of demons, the percentage of having affinity to more than one element is reduced.

And finally, humans do not have affinity with any element, what's more, mana is normally harmful to humans if they are not awakened, but humans do have the capacity for any magical element, and although it seems like an advantage for humanity, the truth is it is not.

It is like saying that an elf would be born with an affinity for air like any elf, the rate would depend on their talent, which can be up to 10 levels. If you have a level 1 talent, which is the base for any mana user, you will learn in a normal way. If you have a level 2 talent, you will be able to learn twice as fast as the previous one, and so on until you reach level 10, which is learning 10 times faster than the others. Although this talent can be improved, it is difficult. Apart from that, using mana is also about the understanding you give it.

For example, if a level 3 D-rank water user throws a jet of water at a tree, with the strength depending on the spell, which can be varied, but in this case only a large jet of water, can knock down that tree.

Now, what happens if we throw that person into the sea tie to a log for a minute, and then take him out? That person will learn firsthand how water pressure will exert more force, and will gain a new elemental understanding, so the next time he shoots a stream of water, he will not only focus on giving it a lot of water, but he will start to fix the stream in a single point which will equal more pressure and therefore more power.

From the legends, it is known that humans came to this land about 1000 years ago and had no elemental affinity, rather, after 100 years of experimentation they were able to obtain a mana core but they could not copy the affinity of each race, that is why humans continue to experiment in secret to this day.

The 2 rarest are the light and darkness elements and as you may have thought the protagonist has maximum elemental affinity including light, but for some reason, he cannot obtain the darkness affinity until the end of the game thanks to the heroine daughter of the demon king who forgave humanity and falls in love with the hero thanks to a rare event that I do not remember yet, I will leave it for later.

'Damn, this guy is really broken, in the game it was made so that a person can dedicate themselves to one element or more than one as they want, but here they bring him as a monster, although taking into account what he is going to face, it is obvious.

although the demon race should hate the human race and if they hate them, they do not go to war thanks to the school director, a SSS class heroine, and Kiriko's aunt.

The war was avoided thanks to her and the other 2 races that also opposed the war.

In the name of peace, there was a deal for her to be the guardian of the daughters of the 3 races in her academy including Nakiri Kuroka.

did you see the connection of the protagonist with the heroines? Cliché no?

By the middle of the game, Kiriko will be living with the 4 girls and her beautiful aunt and her aunt's daughter, and even though I'd like to say that something would happen that any sane person with genius would believe would happen, the truth is that nothing happened, or at least not until the end.

Apparently, the developers didn't want there to be too many displays of love, or they wanted suspense on who would be chosen in the end, or whatever, but they gave Kiriko different traits.

Kiriko is a dense protagonist... too dense To cut a long story short, even though I said it was an action game, the developers wanted to give it a theme of Kiriko's love life but nothing is official.

In certain scenes, the heroine would basically throw herself at him in her birthday suit (naked), but kiriko would think it was a misunderstanding and let it go.

Only when a heroine is about to die or if she directly declares her love would that be the way to make kiriko think about it, I imagine...

As I said, I think he'll eventually agree to something with someone in a much-talked-about sequel... but as you know, I didn't live long enough to know.
