American Comics: The Mighty Superman, Starting From Gwen Spider

Chapter 15: Biostatics

Central City Science High School has a grade-level test every once in a while.

But every time the test scores are released, Gwen's total score always ranks second in the entire grade.

And the guy who always ranks first is called Peter Parker!

Gwen has always been bothered by the fact that she can never surpass Peter Parker's score.

Especially before this incident today, Gwen had no impression of Peter, she only knew that there was such a person in school.

Now that she has witnessed Peter teaching Flash a lesson, Gwen has a deep impression of him for the first time.

It turns out that this Peter Parker is not only academically excellent, but also has an amazing physical fitness. Dealing with someone like Flash, who has that kind of physique, is not something an ordinary person can handle.

...

"The rewards brought to me by the ability of being a participant in the plot, are they only limited to the Marvel universe?"

Peter raised an eyebrow. His personal ability will also grow with the improvement of his physical fitness.

Marvel transmigrators, interdimensional travel, plot participants, and the recently acquired attention of the world, these four abilities will evolve into something more powerful.

Peter looked at the crystal-clear card in his hand, condensed by the "plot participant" ability, and was quite surprised.

The crystal-clear card in Peter's hand is called "Bio-Electrostatics".

Most Spider-Men can climb walls by relying on bio-electrostatics, except for the Toby version of Spider-Man.

Spider-Men achieve the ability to adhere to walls with their hands and feet through the atomic interaction force between the molecules of the Mind Control boundary.

As long as Peter crushes this card in his hand, he can gain the ability to freely walk on walls.

"So, the rewards from being a plot participant are given in the form of cards?"

"It's quite a pleasant surprise to receive the reward of bio-electrostatics by participating in a small event."

Peter exerted force with his arm and immediately crushed the card in his hand.

The shattered card turned into sparkling light particles and flew into Peter's body.

Peter silently summoned his personal information panel, and the newly acquired biological static electricity ability appeared prominently in the "ability" column.

"The super ability obtained through the plot participant ability is unexpectedly not included in the Superman bloodline, but has become my own personal ability?"

"From the looks of it, the few abilities I currently possess are unexpectedly quite practical."

Just as he closed the personal information panel, Peter heard the school bell ringing throughout the campus.

Originally, Peter was planning to return to the Gwen Spider World, but then he thought that the plot of the Extraordinary Spider was still ongoing...

The flow of time in the Extraordinary Spider World is synchronized with the Gwen Spider World. It is currently nighttime in the Gwen Spider World and daytime in the Extraordinary Spider World.

When it gets dark in the Extraordinary Spider World, it should be bright in the Gwen Spider World.

"In that case, I'll stay in this world a little longer. Who knows, I might be able to participate in a few more plot events."

"Since that's the case, I'll act as the Extraordinary Spider for now."

As soon as Peter walked into the classroom, the previously noisy classroom suddenly became incredibly quiet.

Peter made the school's popular figure, Flash Thompson, lose face... This was quite explosive news for the students of Midtown Science High School.

After all, the Peter Parker of the past had already been labeled as a "skinny bookworm" by the students in his class.

Who could have imagined that this skinny bookworm would possess such astonishing combat power?

...

Today was the first day of returning to school, and Midtown Science High School reassigned students to classes and new seats based on their performance from the previous semester.

Gwen Stacy happened to be in the same class as Peter this semester, and their seats were very close to each other.

Looking at the empty seat in the lower left corner, Peter walked quickly and sat down.

Gwen Stacy, who had been quietly observing Peter Parker, turned her head and initiated a conversation, saying, "Hey, your actions just now were great."

Seeing Gwen take the initiative to greet him, Peter couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.

"That guy, Flash, is used to bullying people at school. Now there's finally someone standing up to him... it's awesome."

"Thank you." Peter nodded lightly and said calmly, "I remember your name is Gwen Stacy, right? Nice to meet you."

"Likewise... by the way, your name is Parker...?"

"Peter Parker."

"Ah, right, Peter Parker, the guy who ranks first in the whole grade in test scores."

"Gwen, have you seen me before?" Peter was quite curious.

"...To tell the truth?"

"Definitely."

"No impression, but I've seen your name on the overall score sheet." Gwen waved the pen in her hand.

After hearing this, Peter understood.

Since Gwen hadn't seen him before, it meant that she saw his true face.

"I see, Miss Stacy, nice to meet you."

"Likewise."

The two smiled at each other and began to listen attentively in class.

...

After this class, Peter was called out by a teacher.

In Gwen's puzzled eyes, Peter left the classroom and came to the school gate.

Standing at the school gate was an old man with white hair and glasses.

This old man was none other than Ben Parker, the uncle of Spider-Man.

"Peter."

"Uncle Ben." Peter hesitated for a moment before responding.

"I've already asked for leave for you. Let's go, we can talk while we walk. We might need to have a good chat."

Looking at this unfamiliar Uncle Ben, Peter thought for a moment and nodded in agreement.

Sitting in the passenger seat of Uncle Ben's car, Peter took the initiative to ask, "Uncle Ben, what do you want to talk to me about?"

"Child, I want to know why you didn't come home last night. We couldn't even reach you by phone."

"Aunt May was very worried about you, to the point where she couldn't sleep all night."

"I know you're not that rebellious, right? Luckily, I saw you at school today. Thank goodness you're okay."

Uncle Ben's words made Peter unsure whether he should tell the truth.

If he told Uncle Ben and Aunt May that the Peter Parker of this world is already dead, and that he is another Peter Parker from a different world...

Wouldn't this truth be too cruel for the two elderly people?
